The principles in this article will change your life forever. You must be aware that people will criticize you and your work.
Some people want you to remain in the vicious cycle. However, the only time they succeed is when you fail to realize that you are beautiful, unique and capable of doing what they might say is impossible.
Life is too short to sit in the hot-tub you have got to walk, move, contemplate, ingest and digest. Life is not a game of hide and seek; life is a game of seek and find.
The following MMX theory Minimize, Maximize and eXit, will help you get out of your own way, and become unstoppable.
If you were on your computer, tablet or that smart phone, you have used the same steps. Whether consciously or unconsciously that is for you to decide.
Step 1. Minimize
What are the things you need to minimize this year? The things that you have been doing more of but would like to spend less time on. Maybe you want to reduce the amount of time spent watching Netflix, Television, Social Medias, Shopping, and Entertainment and so on. You must minimize them and focus on the things you should do more of. In other words the things you should maximize!
Step 2. Maximize
What are the things you want to spend more time doing in order to accomplish your goals? Let us say you wish to get in the shape you deserve. Using MMX theory, you should maximize the amount of time spent exercising, it is that simple. Awareness is important, you cannot improve what you do not know.
It was late on a Friday night and my friends and I were having conversation and freestyling to Hip Hop beats in my studio apartment. When explained the MMX theory to them, one of my Poet friends Hasani, responded, “I should minimize watching Netflix and maximize reading books.” I thought to myself, he gets it!
Step 3. eXit!
Unfortunately, they are tabs we exit because we do not need them any longer. That does not mean they were not important because after all, they contributed to our experiences. It means we choose to move on. There are things in our lives we must exist and move on.
Perhaps there are circumstances, and unfathomable situations we encountered in the past. We wish we knew the answer, we wish we knew the right decisions to make, but it happened.
The power of positive thinking asks us to get rid of anything that is not of redeemable value. Habits that are no longer useful, friends that are pulling us back, and so forth. In this case, we should not only minimize them, but exit!
If we do not exit certain tabs in our lives, we are inundated with tabs which limits the possibility of new windows. Truthfully, we get into our own way and all of the sudden we get stuck because our visions get blurred.
Become addicted to the future you. These principles can change your life forever. Do not take this lightly, because the African proverb puts it best, saying, “If you close your eyes to facts, you will learn through accidents.”
